Singapore is now working on its next 10-year master-plan, which will focus on developing smart communities driven by intelligence, integration, and innovation. “Our goal is to establish Singapore as a smart nation that taps the potential of infocomm and media (ICM), and that nurtures innovative talent and enterprises. In this way, the ICM sectors can bring about economic growth and social cohesion, and better living for our people,” Dr Yaacob said.
With this, Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (iDA) looks at various initiatives to encourage students and the general public to get involved in technology, grow high-technology companies, and inspire innovations within the local technology industry.
ACP is proud to participate in Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (iDA) competency framework – ICT Learning Roadmap in one of the technology sectors (ICT). We have been appointed to provide a total of 22 courses that are all benchmarked towards the ICT Learning Roadmap for students as part of the Co-Curricular Activities of the Infocomm Clubs in school.
ACP courses will focus on the ICT domains of Application Development; Cyber Security; Business Analytics; and Robotics & Maker. The following courses will enable the students to:

- Analyse your data Methodically with Business Analytics
Students will learn how valuable it is when data is processed, organized, structured or presented in a given context so as to make it useful, it is called information.
- Develop Useful and Fascinating Mobile Apps with Mobile App Developer
This will enable the students to develop an app that can put processes, organisations, community together to make the world the world smaller place for us to live in.
- Outwit infiltrators by Countering Cyber-attacks with Ethical Hacker
Published Websites are continuously subjected to the threats posed by opportunistic attackers which become an organization’s weakest link. In this course, students will learn how to identify and practice safe habit.
- Explore world of Robotics with Roboticist & Maker
The aim of Roboticist is to encourage practical learning. Students will learn the concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) practically by applying the concepts on a Robot.
Maker is an essential part of making a machine intelligent by incorporating gadgets that will be able to interface with us and indicators that enable human to understand machine.
